Oh yeah, the best maternity/postpartum thing I had was the Gap foldover maxi skirt. They don't have it right now, but they have that mess on Ebay and I would totally buy another if I got pregnant again.

@matador84: I should also note that I know people have differing views on Lularoe but their Cassie skirt was wonderful post partum...it has like a fold over band top that is great at tucking stuff in. I dont dig their weird patterns, but I have snagged a few floral ones that I liked and they work with my shell/cardigan set up!

@gingerbebe: I have a pair of W & W and love them! They just don't fit right now, ha ha. I need to see if they make a high waist because I think I would love them even more.

@winniebee: definitely looking into now!

@winniebee: Yes, I also love that dress. It was great for nursing and very soft and flattering.

I really liked blazers when I returned to work - I thought the structure really helped give me a nice shape when I felt lumpy and saggy. A funky blazer with trouser jeans is still one of my favorite work looks. I get blazers everywhere, but NY&Co and target often have affordable ones.

@Mrs D: I think it would depend on your frame. I'm really petite so it comes down low, but I wear a nursing tank under anyways! Also, don't pay full price - lands end always runs sales!

Obsessed with Athleta's magnet closure open cardigans. Great for nursing/pumping.

Also love this dress for post-partum (and pumping). I have it in 3 colors - great for work you can wear alone, with a cardigan, or blazer.

I really love this shell from AT...

https://www.anntaylor.com/mixed-media-shell/403546?skuId=20947194&defaultColor=9192&colorExplode=false&catid=cata000010

Its mixed material, so its basically a super comfy cotton shell with a woven front overlay. Super comfortable, perfect for layering.

I also live in these cardi's from Target:

https://www.target.com/p/women-s-cocoon-cardigan-a-new-day-153/-/A-52490191#lnk=sametab

I basically wear a shell, a cardi and pair of pants to work 3 days a week! The other days I wear jeans once, and a skirt once to mix it up! :)

I wear leggings instead of tights under dresses. If I'm wearing boots or closed shoes, it doesn't matter anyway, and I feel they are more comfortable than tights.

For dresses, I generally look for wrap-style dresses or tunic dresses. This time of year, a ponte material is warmer and pretty easy maintenance. I think Old Navy had some clearance recently and Gap I'm sure makes a ponte dress cuz they always do. My favorite wrap dresses are Chaps by Ralph Lauren or Dana Buchman, which are at Kohl's.

I wear a lot of open cardigans, which are available just about anywhere, and wear a looser top with a pair of slacks. Warmer weather I like jersey/modal ones. This time of year, merino wool is my favorite material.

If you're going to be pumping, I would recommend Rumina Pump and Nurse tanks - you can wear them under your clothing and stick the flanges right into the tank. I just wore them with nursing pads under my clothes and didn't wear anything too tight and basically got away with not wearing a bra for a long time.

Pants, I really like Dana Buchman slacks from Kohl's for some reason. They seem to fit my hips really well and are not very expensive.

Jeans, I've heard a lot of good things about Wit and Wisdom from Nordies. I'm losing weight right now, so I'm sticking to cheapie Old Navy Rockstar Midrise jeans or my trusty Democracy Mid-rise Jeggings,

Are you into skirts? I really like the midi length that is everywhere, with a pair of dark, opaque tights underneath.

Stretchy things were my friend (and still are). I really like fit and flare dresses for my new shape. I also do a lot of separates, especially when I was pumping, so skirt/top/cardigan or pants/top/cardigan. I prefer skirts though.

Looking for staple items/suggestions for when I go back to work in 3 weeks. I like to shop Nordstrom's, Gap...and only online really.

I have to dress business professional/semi-professional 3x a week and can wear jeans twice a week. Definitely in the market for new jeans since my hips are huge now 3 babies in.
