@mrsjyw: amazing. Go girl!!

I have sooooo been slacking on the working out ladies. Working plus being a mom is hard as it is....I am having such a hard time fitting in exercise. I try to go for a walk with the babe 4x a week and doing ab workouts here and there...but im struggling. :(

So I haven't gotten back into exercise yet like I wanted to (dd went through a growth spurt so I didn't push my body, and now I'm waiting for my biopsy site to heal up), but! Thanks to the magic of breastfeeding I've dropped about three more pounds over the last two weeks! My hips and thighs are making my old jeans super tight but I can fit back into most of them now. Yessss.

Keep up the hard work, ladies!

@travelingbrit: I did that too (brought Lo to our apt building gym in the stroller). It worked great until his naps went to crap! I also did it even if there were other ppl there... He was sleeping and if he woke up I would just end my workout early and leave!

I am happy to say that I am 10 lbs lighter than my pre pregnancy weight today. Wahoo! Some of my pre pregnancy jeans are too small now.

I havent been doing anything special, except being too busy with LO to eat sometimes. No dieting and no working out.
Now that I'm cleared to work out, I hope to use the apartment gym during the daytime if its empty, and leave LO sleeping in the stroller next to me. Of course I won't do this if anyone is there working out.

Weight Pre-Pregnancy: 198lbs
Weight at Full Term:218 lbs
Weight at 2 months post partum:188 lbs
Goal Weight: 145lbs
lbs to Goal: 43lbs

@mrskc: you look great mama! I have a molded cup nursing bra with no underwire from bravado and I find the molded cup really annoying to pull down as well. I agree though, it's a good one to wear on a date night! :)

@hilsy85: what about underwire nursing bras? They have a molded cup and a clip like a nursing tank. I got some from Motherhood maternity. I don't really like wearing them too much if I have to nurse LO because they are a bit annoying and the molded cups get in the way. But they are nice to wear to work, and date nights. And Nice to have in case I feel like going out with LO and wearing an actual bra.

Hey ladies! I'm down to 156! 6 lbs to my goal. I put on my fav prepregnancy black skinny jeans today and I can actually zip and button them up! I have a muffin top that I need to lose but a month ago I could barely get one leg into them. Here's a pic. I just have to wear a loose fitting top so you can't see my muffin top.

How's everyone doing? I love reading MODG's blog!

@MsLipGloss: I am seriously tempted to buy the AGs that MODG raved about on her blog! My maternity jeans were AG bc they were soooo stretchy and comfy and I really loved them:). So I may spring for some AGs too!

Tomorrow I am going to weigh myself. I keep forgetting in the mornings and not remembering until I've eaten and drank 20 gallons of water, so then I'm too scared to get on the scale. Plus my ILs are visiting us and I've been drinking a lot more wine, which is never good for weight loss, so I need to weigh to make sure I stay on track! My ILs are big drinkers so I get easily roped into 2-3 glasses of wine a night!

@littlek: I bought some Serena legging jeans (TR) and they are a mid rise...I dont like them as much as the low rise so I sent them back, but they got great reviews because of that higher rise. They were really cute elsewhere, I got them on Piperlime...

@MsLipGloss: Woohoo! I'm so glad you like them!

@hilsy85: Yes I pull down the cups, or sometimes just push it up so boob comes out the bottom.

I am a cup size bigger than prepreg, so I bought new pushup real bras in my current size. I normally wear Very Sexy bras from VS but didnt want to spend $50 on bras when I don't know how long they'll be this size. I found a nice alternative, the VS Pink pushup bra...They're 2 for $42 in the store...So they're a great price and I like them a lot!

As far as jeans, my favorite mommy blogger, MODG, just did a post on best jeans for PP and the AG jeans were her faves. I don't know if I'm supposed to link or not, but you can google MODG and her blog will pull right up. She is hilarious and had a really good post on jeans.

@hilsy85: I bought a pair of AG jeans and I love them! They have nice stretch and the rise isn't too low. I'm petite and they are one of the few jeans that actually fit a petite person, not that your petite, but I'm super picky and I love them. I don't want my 7 for all mankind jeans to know this, but I think I like the AG more.... aghhh I'm cheating on my 7s...

@WinnieBee: I also have a 2 month deadline . . . DH just made partner, and in April, we have to do a whole bunch of social/formal social firm stuff, and I need to look my best! For me, it has been easier to *just do it* with the April date looming. And you're right - the first few days (especially the first day!) were the hardest. It's not quite as difficult to sacrifice a lunch hour and lace up my shoes this week as it was last week.

I hope the night nurse helps, too. I am terrified about hearing LO cry though . . . but I know I can't keep this up forever.

@MsLipGloss: I figured the hardest part would be starting and going for more than 1 day. My brother's wedding is in 2 months and so that's my goal. Night nurse sounds like an excellent plan - hope it helps!

@WinnieBee: All that matters is that you started! Sounds like you are off to a great start, too! I am currently squeezing in shorter workouts at lunch because LO does not sleep nearly long enough at night for late workouts (I have a baby nurse coming in tonight for the next several nights to hopefully get things sorted out). And I agree . . . while I have a *goal weight* in mind, what matters more to me is how I feel and how my clothes fit.

I started my regimen a week late. But, Saturday went to the gym. Sunday, shred. Monday, shred. Tonight, shred (can do it after work and T goes to bed since my husband is working late). Then, I just need to fit in a lunch workout at work one day this week and I will have worked out 5 days!! I don't care what I weigh and I do fit in to all of my old clothes. I just want to start feeling good about myself again.
