We have one but we bought a padded potty ring too because he's getting READY to potty train (and not actually trained) so he spends a lot of time just sitting there on the pot for a LONG time and it was leaving marks on his tush. I think it will be great once he's actually trained. We have the Mommy's Helper padded one - nice and cushy and cheap!

We have one. My son used it maybe 3-5 times then insisted on using the big seat. Other kids use it when they come over, especially now that we've gotten rid of our potty.

We got a slow-close seat, and that is awesome to have with a toddler regardless of your potty situation. No more banging the seat down when he's done! Amazing!

We have one, but both kids aren't near potty training age yet, so we haven't used it. Well I use the adults seat :-)

We bought one available in store at Lowe's. I have boys and they usually stand to pee so it's really not used too much. I think it's better for girls anyway because there is no splash guard for boys and often even when they aim down, pee will get on the adult seat. With that said, I still prefer it to the separate potty seats because we has similar issues and storage was a problem too plus this is easier to use without help. Yes it was the most expensive toilet seat I've ever purchased but I think it was worth it.

@Foodnerd81: Like you mentioned our little seat has etched our bigger seat.

The seat worked really well for a year and then started to get loose and wiggle off. We still use it but LO2 will be starting potty training soon and I wonder if it will last through him. We'd probably get another since it worked well while it lasted.

We had the same one as @MenagerieMama: in our condo when LO potty trained. It was great, much easier than putting a little seat on every time. And way better than having to use a little potty and empty it and clean it. We move about 6 months after she potty trained and did not bring it with us or get a new one. Now she uses a cheap removable one on one toilet or uses the regular seat on the downstairs toilet and is fine. We will get a new one or two when the baby potty trains.

One complaint- the little seat eventually left a ring or mark or something on the adult seat on ours. I don't think it's because I didn't wash the bathroom enough, but that is possible. We had a wood adult seat I think.

We have the one Mrs. YoYo linked to. The child ring is much smaller than the adult ring, but, still too big to be comfortable for my 22mo old with a skinny, bony arse. Maybe other models are a little smaller, or your kid is bigger though!

We have one on both of our kid accessible toilets. My advice is to get one that holds onto the lid by magnet as opposed to a clip. The clip (my friend had one) is a MAJOR PITA. The magnet ones are easy enough to use that my 2 year old has no issues.

We have the one from Summer Infant. Didn't have the best Amazon reviews but it's been perfect for us. Most importantly, I think it helped DD not have any fears using a big potty in a public bathroom.

We had one in our rental house last year, and just bought 2 (one first for the girls' bathroom and it fit/worked well, so bought a second for the downstairs bathroom) for our new house now that DD2 is potty training.

Ours are the same one @menageriemama: mentioned above!

Love them -- don't have to worry about them falling off/moving/shifting and they are low profile enough for tiny DD2 to scootch on herself.

We have this in both bathrooms LO uses and LOVE it. She potty trained early so she's had a tiny bottom to fit and it's been so nice to ditch the potty ring to put on and off.

@Bao: we had one when lo1 was potty trained but didn't bring it when we moved. It worked well though! It was in a bathroom that she mostly only used herself but we kept Clorox wipes to wipe it off if someone wanted to use the grown up seat.

We have one! Kinda like this:

http://www.homedepot.com/p/KOHLER-Transitions-Quiet-Close-Elongated-Closed-Front-Toilet-Seat-with-Grip-tight-Bumpers-in-White-K-4732-0/100626729

It's nice not to deal with pulling the potty seat on and off. That said, after a few months he seems to have figured out how not to "fall in" regardless of whether he's using the child seat or regular seat.

Does anyone have one of these? Where the kid potty seat is build into the regular toilet seat so it can be pulled down for kids to use and clipped back up when an adult needs to use it? My youngest is a few months potty trained now but always struggles to get the potty seat we have off the clip that hangs off the back of the toilet. I was thinking one of the built in ones would be more helpful, but I want to hear reviews before I purchase!
