We didn't quite have a regression, but a crazy progression after E's brother was born. Once he saw J in diapers, he wanted out of night diapers. We had more accidents that way than before. Limiting liquids, midnight potty breaks, and incentives have reduced them for us.

Yep, we had a new baby in April and our big girl went into refusal mode shortly after! The advice I got was to stop reminding her to go (it's often a control thing for the child and the constant reminders make it worse) and I put her back into nappies but reminded her she could still use the toilet. LO was in and out of nappies for 2-3 weeks then the novelty wore off and she started wearing her undies again.

I think you just have to ride it out and not make a big deal about it and it will pass so hang in there!

@birdofafeather: oh no! I'm timing her more too and making her go instead of waiting for her to tell me.

no advice, just commiseration. we just keep chugging. i'm paying attention to her more and trying to time her instead of trusting her to go on her own. praying this is resolved soon as i had a break down yesterday!

DD is 2.5 and has been day trained for a few months. Lately she's been having 1-3 accidents a day and she doesn't care. She'll tell me "I had a pee pee accident and it's okay!" with a grin on her face. She just got a little sibling a few weeks ago and her doctor warned us potty regression is common so I'm trying to be patient but it's still frustrating. She has more accidents now than when we first started potty training her! Did you LO go through a potty regression? How did you handle it?
