Does she love praise? I would just hype it up. Also, I'm not above bribing my kiddo.

@Tanjowen: thank you for sharing! Funny thing, she peed on the potty several times yesterday after I bribed her with a Tiana doll. She stayed dry all night and only one accident today. Here's to hoping this is it! We sent the diapers to the diaper fairy too, which I didn't attempt before so she still knew there were diapers around. I think that really helped. Good luck with your little one, potty training is stressful!

@Bao: I'm starting the process with a most stubborn just turned 3 year old. It's not that he's not ready - he gives every signal and knows what to do - it's that he just doesn't WANT to and that's that for him. And he does it at his little preschool too, just not for me at home! :bummed:

Today he has been messing in his pants and doesn't seem to care, so we are going bare bottom, which he hates. I told him he can have pants back when he goes on the potty. I also printed up a rewards chart and when he gets 5 stickers he gets to go to the bouncy house, his most favorite thing ever. Here's hoping it sticks.

Our story aside, maybe a big reward besides the standard food offerings most people suggest? It's the only thing I can think to get my child motivated, and cookies aren't cutting it because he doesn't seem to care about food rewards. Good luck to you!

I would wait until they showed interest. She's not trying to be stubborn just to irritate you, she's just not interested yet.

My LO will be 3 in just over 2 months. We have attempted to potty train her a couple times, but she just didn't care and it only left us with a bunch of messes. How do you approach potty training a kiddo that just doesn't have interest? She seems to be ready in all other ways, just stubborn...any tips?
