We did undies for the short one with a stop and monitored water intake, and a diaper for the longer trip. We do the 2 hour trip pretty regularly and have never had an issue although it is good to know the stops with decent restrooms. For a two hour road trip, I would just make sure to stop after one hour to let her try to go. We didn't try it previously even though she seems interested because we took two separate 5+ hour road trips in the last month.</p> <p>thing is, i drive with LO 2-3 hours at a time bi-monthly. am i setting myself up for trouble by (possibly) potty training and then putting her in a car for 2-3 hours? i'm imagining lots of accidents and/or lots of stops.</p> <p>any advice, experience with road trips/longer drives and newly potty trained kiddos? </p>
