you could leave the crib up if the room is big enough to accommodate both. I too was worried about all the changes happening at first. Within 2 months we introduced a toddler bed, part time preschool, and a new baby! but she adapted great!

In the beginning we would give her a choice, do you want the crib or bed? and she'd bounce between the two. once we saw she started favoring the bed, we didn't look back. Every kiddo is different but I found I made more of an issue of the whole time then it really was. Good Luck!

D never peed during the night, so I just put a bed in his room and gradually got him to sleep there. He was just as happy as your kid in the crib. Even after I officially moved him to the twin, he would yell for me to come get him when he woke up.

If she isn't night trained then the crib is fine - otherwise she would need to be able to get out of bed herself to use the potty in the morning or you would have to go to her immediately if still in the crib.

LO is still in the crib. We asked her if she wanted to move to a big girl bed once she was using the potty, and she said no. We're not pushing it since the potty is pretty new, even though she's doing exceptionally well. She's woken up dry for naps since day 1 and only once or twice has she had a wet pull-up in the morning. Still, we're using pull-ups until she moves into a big girl bed because we don't want to disrupt sleep. We call them her special sleeping panties.

My LO is 29 months and he still wears a diaper for naps and nights. He prefers to poop either at the end of his sleep or right when he wakes up and he is diaper is rarely clean when we get him. Once he starts to wake up with a dry diaper more frequently we will get rid of them.

Is she potty trained in the daytime? Does she often wake up with a dry diaper? You can always potty train for days first and continue to use diapers for naps/night if you don't want to disrupt her sleep.

My LO sleeps in a crib and she still wears a diaper at night. We might drop it soon since she is usually dry in the morning.

We stopped putting her in diapers/pull-ups for naps about 3 months after she was day potty trained.

LO still sleeps in the crib and has never tried to climb out. She's 2.5. I can't decide if we should leave her in if we potty train. Part of me thinks yes so not too much change at once. Do we just have to go get her as soon as she makes a peep to avoid crib accidents?
I will admit I am most hesitant about this aspect. She happily plays in the crib for a bit most mornings and I can leave her in at the end of nap if I need to finish up work for a few. Guess those days are over.

Would love to hear from anyone who has done it!
