I think it's definitely possible pending her readiness!

We trained DS on the earlier side (for boys) at 2y7m no problems and probably couldve done it earlier (I put it off for months); he even night "trained" himself a few months later.

Very possible last year, DD1 turned 2 in October and she was potty-trained Thanksgiving weekend. She was showing signs of readiness and was excited about it. I wouldn't force her if she was scared as it might set you back further.

My daughter trained seamlessly right at that age. She probably could've done it earlier!

@rattles: yea, I definitely took the relaxed approach with DS and it was easy peasy when he was approaching 3. I hate to make it stressful if it doesn't have to be! There is another school that would be our first choice that doesn't have this requirement but not sure we'll get in (wait list)
@daniellemybelle: Not sure that's on option but I'll ask when I tour

LO is potty trained and she turned 2 last week. We used the OCPT method. She does wear a pull-up at nap time. Will they do that?

Our girl is day trained at 22 months. I recommend the 3 day method for a 2 year old. Personally, we did relaxed EC starting at 7 months. BUT, had we not done that, I'd do the 3 day method. Good luck!! :)

My daughter was fully trained 2 weeks before her 2nd birthday!
She had accidents all day on day 1, but something clicked at the end of the day and we had 0 accidents starting day 2.
Good luck!
We used the bottomless method and had her go commando for a while before she started wearing underwear.

When we tried a three day method at 2 yrs 5 months, it was a total failure, even though DD had shown all the readiness signs for months. We just tried again two weeks ago (5 months later) and it went as smooth as can be.

It seems like a gamble to count on it. Certainly it's possible, I just think it's equally probable that you'd have to force it.

We did it easily at 2y5m. We waited for a vacation before starting but could have done it earlier.
Good luck!

If your LO is ready, I think it's very possible. We potty trained our DD within that same timeframe by just following her lead plus some small motivation in the form of a sticker chart once she got the general idea. Good luck!!

Very possible! We trained DD right before she turned 2. The norm in her class at daycare is to train around 2 and even the boys are done by 2.5 it seems.

We used the 3 day method by Lora Jensen.

How likely is it that I'll be able to have my girl potty trained by 2 y and 4 months? I have my eye on a Montessori school that will only accept kids that are potty trained. My son will be 4 and I need them to be in the same school for logistics reasons. My son potty trained pretty easily just shy of turning 3, but I hear girls are likely to do it earlier? Experiences? She is 19 months now and I have done nothing with her in the process.
