Typed this on my phone, so ignore all the errors. My fingers are too fat for this tiny keyboard. But thanks y'all! I think the pressure seems to be a lot for her. I haven't pressured her at all, but she gets really upset when she feels like she has disappointed me. I'm going to try to make it a little more fun and see if that helps!

I'd say it's normal and maybe even good that accidents bother her. My 2.5 year old is daytime potty trained when she wants to be, but pees in her pants sometimes if she's mad or distracted, and could not care less about the accidents. In cases where she's mad, I'm pretty sure she thinks the accidents are funny. :(

If your little girl seems too stressed out by them, maybe let her use pull-ups so the accidents aren't a big deal (Or have her go pant less in the house?) I'm sure it's tough seeing her upset! Good luck!

I would think it means she gets that she isn't supposed to pee in her pants.

Hang in there Mama!!

R doesn't seem concerned with peeing her pants, so I would actually take it as a good sign that she's sad because that means she gets it, even though she can't follow through! It's day one, so I wouldn't sweat the accidents. We've been potty training off and on (now totally on) for 6 weeks and she still peed her pants today in the car.

(Not sure which category this goes in!)

I started potty training this morning. I thought j would give it a go this week since Sadie has shown signs that she's ready, and has peed on the potty a handful of times.

She hasn't peed on the potty at all today. She has had 4 per accidents, and one poop. After she pooped in her underwear she ran to the potty and asked to go, so I think she is trying to understand. The part that concerns me is that every time she pees in her underwear she cries hysterically. I think it's a mixture of being uncomfortable and fear of upsetting me (she is very sensitive!). Is that normal or a sign that maybe she's not ready?
