My only advice is to be patient. We didn't follow any method, and it just took awhile to train our son. We started right when he turned 3, but so much of it is controlled by the kid. Just stay positive and expect accidents. They won't be in diapers forever!

We did diapers or pull ups for awhile each day to get lo to poop. But after a couple weeks she decided against that thank goodness! My dd was older though, 2y9m.

Keep it up! For us, day 3 and day 5 were bad. And we have random bad days here and there even a month in! DD is 24 months, we started at 23 months, and we just try to be consistent. She is really good about it most days. It took 9 days for her to learn to poop in the potty, but she hasn't had a poop accident since. Pee is another story, especially in the carseat. But we aren't giving up. Good luck!

I am on day 2 of potty training. Yesterday was excellent. He didn't have a single accident and would tell me when he needed to use the potty, in addition to our encouragement. Today is the complete opposite. Not once has he peed on the potty and lots of accidents. Also, he hasn't pooped since yesterday and wondering if other LO waited to poop too.
