My oldest is 3 and 8 months and my twins will be 3 in a month. I tried the 3 day method last summer when my oldest was 2 and 8 months an it was a traumatic failure. He was screaming about going into the bathroom then we ended up with him having months of horrible constipation that we had to work through and my brain just couldn't handle potty training while we were going through that. So here we are a year later trying gain.

Right now we have sticker charts for pee and cars for poop. I think my twins will actually b easier to tin than my oldest because of his stubbornness. He has alo been gone through a rough behavior patch which makes it worse. I can't really put him on Time out because he gets mad and pees.

I am not really able to solidly pick any one method. I will never have three solid days to dedicate just to one child. The logistics off it just aren't going to happen. Right now this is what we are doing. Under wear at home pull ups when we go out. I ask about every 15 or 20 minutes if the have to go. If they stay dry and go per in the toilet they get two stickers. If they pee but were wet they get one. If they poop I have hot wheels for them. I am hoping as the days continue it will get a little easier and they will make it more often. My big concern is my oldest who needs to potty train for preschool in August!

It's times like these that I really realize how hard raising my boys is. I feel asleep last night at 7:30 while nursing my daughter to sleep in our bed. When it's constant vigilance it is exhausting.

My friend is the mom of triplets and she just did it all in a one week stretch. She had her mom come over during the days and they did laundry and cleaned the bathroom all day the first 3 days. Then it started getting better. She decided to wait until they were just about 2 1/2 years old before tackling the task.

She said that week was a blur, but once they caught on, they never turned back.

Wow! You are so ambitious!

What about just letting all three of them run around bottomless for a few days? That's what we did with DD, and she seemed to catch on pretty quickly. Plus, it would be less laundry for you (score!) and you can incentivize your oldest that he gets his underwear back when he can use the potty like a big boy.

Is there a pair of underwear that your oldest doesn't like? That way, you wouldn't be rewarding him with a fresh pair.

Also, have you tried a rewards chart? Something like this, and then you put stickers on it for your kids:
http://www.hellobee.com/2012/06/05/printable-potty-training-rewards-chart/

Good luck!!

How old are your boys? and wow, 3 at a time.
What "potty training" method are you using? Are you rewarding them when they do go? We will be using the http://www.3daypottytraining.com techinique and plan on doing it next weekend.

ohhhh my goodness. God Bless you for going through this..!!!!

I have absolutely no real advice since we have yet to potty train.. but as for your oldest, maybe you can tell him that he doesn't get a new pair if he goes in his first pair? Or maybe you can get PLAIN white underwear and tell him he only gets one fun pair per day, and if he messes in that one, he gets the plain ones. Part of me wants to say get GIRLS underwear for the backups. Haha.

Ugh. We are on the third day of potty training my three boys. I am so tired of cleaning bathroom messes. Is there anyone who has trained multiples before? I know I just have to keep at it but it seems like they are constantly messing. Also my oldest does it on purpose to get a new pair of underwear, I don't know how to fix that.
