LOL!!!! Ok maybe just maybe read a book about crazy things dogs have done and have a good laugh together!! Maybe there is a youtube channel or slideshow of actual dogs getting into trouble or being silly. Turn it into a joke. He has to get to the funny side of it and reset. :silly:

Here's one. It is a little long so maybe just part of it. Or you can google silly dog videos. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kZw-jgCRPeE

Also no advice, but that's seriously hilarious! Maybe it can just be incentive for him to poop again so you can take it to the toilet to flush it.

Warning - this is a little gross, but also pretty funny.

We are just starting with potty training with DS, he's gotten much more interested in using the potty and done a few pees. Two days ago got gummy bears as an incentive for pee and lollipops for poop, which has been really effective for him.

Well, last night DS made his first poop on the potty. He was so excited, I was so excited.

Then, I went to get a lollipop for him and our dog ate his poop!!! (It was in a little potty on the floor)

He was so sad and so mad and so confused about it. I tried to focus on the success and reassure him that we wouldn't let the dog in the bathroom any more. But now he wants nothing to do with the potty :bummed: And he hates our dog.

Any ideas to help him feel positive about the potty again?
