I also keep long-burning candles, bottled water, flashlights, batteries, canned food and cash (hidden) on hand. My husband thinks I am nuts as we live in Manhattan, NYC - but I perfer to be prepared! Other than that, we should be okay. A tree fell on my old car that my sis now uses! </p> <p>I think we are pretty prepared. When we had Hurricane Irene hit here in August I learned all about emergency prep! I made a "go bag" and everything.
