I chopped it off! I was tired of LO constantly pulling on it, it was falling out, and completely dead and dry anyway. So I chopped it into a chin length bob and I love it!

@shopaholic: I've always had bangs for the last few year until I get too lazy to trim them. But when the baby hair got long enough where they're not spiky I went and got my bangs back. Helped a TON.

Yeah, the hair loss is killing me. I have managed to stick to my cut/color every 6 weeks or so, and the past two times I have felt really bad for the Gigantic clumps. So gross. I haven't really been doing anything special to deal. I'm 4.5 mo pp and it seems like it has slowed a bit. I'm really tired of pulling my gross hair clumps out of the shower drain. Ug.

@shopaholic: I stuck with long angs to hopefully weigh down the crazy hairs. My long bangs stay down, but the baby hairs stick straight out. Straight. Out.

@yerpie110: Let me know if you do it! I'm contemplating a wavy perm, but what if half that hair falls out anyways?

@hilsy85: @Weagle: @regberadaisy: I feel like this is what Kourtney Kardashian kind of looks like now (from their E! family interview). I was thinking bangs would help when I get to that point, but apparently not so?

@WALLAROO: OMG - Our shower is suddenly very slooow-draining this week. I got to clean the drains today - reminder!

Yup, dealt with it for about 3-4 months. I just let it be although I really wished I went to cut it short during! The baby hair that grows back is even more fabulous.

ugh, i'm going through this now too. i'm only 4.5 months pp, and didn't realize how long it would last!! i'm thinking of getting a cut or perm, but i'm not sure it will help much. i may just let nature run it's course and hope i'm not bald in a few months!

Ugh, I am going through this right now. My hair is long and black and it looks like I lose a ton after each shower not to mention what else I shed throughout the day. I'm getting a haircut next week but mainly because it has lost it's shape and looks flat. Doubt it will help but hopefully it looks good.

@hilsy85: The baby hairs! They're awful. If I don't dry my hair carefully I have a mane/halo. 2-3 inch pieces sticking out all over my head... Not just my hairline.

I got bangs about at 4.5 months pp, when the hair loss was really bad...now it's slowing down, at 7 months pp and I hate my bangs! I'm also getting all these teeny baby hairs growing in at my hairline....

I got a trim and it didn't help. I was still losing a bunch at 9 months PP! I thought I was going to be bald, but it's slowed now at 12 months PP. This was one of the hard parts, I hate my thin hair now :(

I got a trim and got the hairdresser to thin and relayer it. Dont think it really helped.

Mine lasted about 3 months, from 3-6m pp. I just sort of waited it out. Good luck!

i cut mine short into a chin length bob. it was a big adjustment, but it was less stressful because it appeared as if i didn't lose as much hair since it is shorter. so i really regretted it for a couple days and then i saw how easy it was (literally brushed my hair once and it looked awesome) and i thought it looked really chic, plus i look like i have tons of hair. the only thing that annoys me is that i can't pull it back in a ponytail and LO is grabby. i'm almost 7 months pp, and i am still shedding, but probably has slowed a bit. it started seriously around 4 months pp. btw, i have stick straight asian hair so a short bob works really well.

I'm just suffering through it. Short hair is harder for me to manage because it turns into a curly mess and I can't pull it back. 6 months pp and still shedding.

Post Partum hair loss is in total effect here! Wondering how some of you ladies dealt with it?

Did you cut your hair shorter? If so, why? To make it look fuller or because shorter hair is easier to clean up?

Did you cut more layers, curl, or perm it to look fuller?
I'm like Jen Aniston and quite devoted to my longer hair. But it's all I can do to keep it on my head these days. Tell me: How Did You Deal? And when does it end?!?!
