Also, just warning, I wouldn't expect it to be business as usual. I labored 18 hours but never pushed or anything and ended up with a c section. I had no pain whatsoever down south so I assumed when we resumed activities it would all just be normal. Not so. Unfortunately her OB thinks it might affect her fertility. I waited till about 7 weeks pp and it felt a little odd but not painful. But I bled for 6 weeks PP and didn't really feel like myself until around 7 weeks (and even then I had NO sex drive for a few months). I also had a pretty horrific tear.</p> <p>At 4 days PP with DS we did it and I was sore but didn't really hurt. My midwife's policy was nothing until your bleeding has stopped, like others have mentioned. I would for sure wait for that.</p> <p>And I feel you! I had scar tissue from my tear that I didn't know about until my appointment. I had it removed and waited for that to heal before having sex. It got so bad that my OB suggested trigger point injections. I had stitches until 5 weeks PP with my first but we did it as soon as they were gone and all was fine. I didn't have tearing with my second and was done bleeding by 2 weeks PP and we DTD then. My husband has as well so we've both been dealing with "blue balls" for 2 weeks now and we're both pretty frustrated about it.</p> <p>I feel great physically but don't know if everything has healed since I haven't had my PP visit with the OB/GYN yet My appointment is in 2 weeks (will be 4 wks PP), but I seriously don't know if DH and I can make it until then.</p> <p>Did anyone "do it" before having their PP appointment and getting the all clear? Was it ok or did it hurt? </p>
