However, after his second failed extubation attempt on Monday, he seemed unlike himself all day yesterday (pale, higher heart rate and breathing rate, lower blood pressure, extra sleepy), then spiked a fever in the afternoon, and went into septic shock over night. He is doing better this morning, but is back on several medications to increase his blood pressure and higher ventilator support. </p> <p>Thank you again everyone for continuing to think of and pray for Charlie.
