Her doctor said it didn't appear to be cancer, but they would have to wait for results to be sure. Well, its not cancer AND she found out today that she's having a baby boy!! She texted my mom saying that she couldn't stop smiling. Unfortunately, she went to the doctor today and it grew more in the past 2 weeks. They are leaning towards thinking its ovarian cancer at this point. I think she's having some sort of procedure done on Monday. She's now 14 weeks pregnant and the baby seems to be doing fine. </p> <p>These types of things make me so nervous (and sad) because no one thinks it will happen to them. I have a cyst on my right ovary, the size of a softball, how large is her cyst? I have never heard of the mother passing away from it, it must be very large. I was warned if mine twisted or burst the baby would be in jeporady. Apparently, it could burst and she'd pass away in less than an hour. Her doctors are consulting on when she will be in surgery and getting all the details worked out right now. If they can remove the cyst, then the baby should be fine.</p> <p>The doctor said the baby saved her life because she didn't know the cyst was there until she went for an ultrasound (it grew several inches in a few weeks). My cousin and I are the same age and while we aren't close right now, we were best friends growing up. I'm really worried about her :/ </p>
