My BIL and SIL were a few weeks behind us with their pregnancy and they lost it at about 10 weeks. They have been so supportive of our pregnancy and love A now she's here. Prayers to them. I was due close to another coworker. I was a few weeks ahead of her. She reached out to me and it helped me. She never went through a loss, but she just was there if I needed to talk about anything. I had this happen to me earlier in this pregnancy - a friend was a few weeks different from me and she lost the baby. I was initially afraid to reach out but I did, and I think it was worth it. While awkward at first, we did chat and text about it a fair amount, and she told me she appreciated it. They were at a stage where not many people knew - had I not also been pregnant I don't think I would have known. But, if you're comfortable, I would encourage you to reach out to her. I will add that I haven't ever had a miscarriage and don't mean to speak for how all women would feel in this situation, this was just my experience with my friend. His wife is 2 weeks ahead of me. Just last week they went in for their first sonogram and found out they were having twins!!! We were all excited about experiencing this round of pregnancy together.</p> <p>Today, they went in for another sonogram and they couldn't find the heartbeat for either of the babies. They have a D&amp;C scheduled for tomorrow. My heart is absolutely heavy and is breaking for them. It's just not right, and I know I can't do anything to help them, but I just feel so helpless for them. Please send them your prayers and thoughts.</p> <p>This gentleman is also our chiropractor, and I'm not sure how to face him at our future appointments as our pregnancy progresses. I see him on an every other week basis. </p>
