Happy Early Bday to Vi! Perfectly normal to freak out! My only tip is to try and enjoy the birthday and party! Like a wedding - it just goes by all too fast - try to soak it in, enjoy the moment and your baby, and make memories with your loved ones!

I fully expect this to me in one weeks time. I have so many half finished projects and so much to do. And it is supposed to rain! OMG!! And how can I even be this close to a first birthday party? Where is my baby? I am getting stressed just thinking about it. I wanted to be so organised as well.

I'm sure everything will turn out great! I planned a lot ahead of time as well, but was still flustered when it came time for the party. It didn't help that I was newly pregnant and sick. In the end, everything went well and guests enjoyed themselves. Once the party started I relaxed and had a good time too.

Happy almost Birthday to Vi!! I know you've been planning this for a long time and I'm sure it will all come together beautifully, even if every little detail isn't exactly perfect.

I love that you stopped everything to tell her the story of her birth- so sweet!

Breathe! Everything will get done!
I didn't freak out. I was just an emotional mess. I kept crying thinking about how much she has grown. I mean she couldn't even support her own head when she was born and not even 11 months later, she is walking around like she owns the place!

Viviana's birthday is tomorrow (!) and I'm a wee bit stressed out.

I don't know why this always happens. I kept it small, I planned way ahead of time, I completed projects weeks before... and yet here I am rushing around like a crazy person the day before.

A year ago at this time I was in labor. I still haven't written my birth story because I am still so emotional, but I'm afraid I'll forget it. I can't believe it's been a year!

So here I am sitting on the floor surrounded by chalkboard signs, ribbon, a half done flower crown, dairy free/sugar free/grain free/nut free cake in the oven (phew), and I just got done telling Vi the story of her birth. She wasn't especially interested. ;)

Did you have a total freak out when your baby turned one? Am I a crazy person?
