She gave me a booklet the state produces on which fish are good to eat during pregnancy and which are bad, and then said to start taking either a prenatal or folic acid supplement. She said I didn’t need to alter my life in any other way, including during the TWW, and to call her in a year if I wasn’t pregnant (later revised to 6 months only due to my husband’s age). This was probably about 6 months ago. We talked about going off BC and starting a pre-natal. </p> <p>I've been off BC and taking a pre-natal for about 3 months now. I did have a pelvic exam, but that could be because I was due for one in general (it had been two years since my last one).</p> <p>I think it's good that you have your questions ready. It sounds like you're prepared! Are you planning on TTC soon? I'm also planning on bringing a list of questions and tell them which type of prenatals I've been taking to see if they think it is a good choice. </p> <p>Should I expect a pelvic exam? Are there any other bees that did this? Am I forgetting anything? </p>
