Thanks everyone. Not feeling great today. Achy back but I honestly I think it's just from tossing and turning all night. Just feeling really stressed because I can't decide what's just normal pregnancy pain and what might be a sign that the contractions are coming back/increasing... so I don't know whether to call or not. I don't want to be annoying and call for no reason (or get the bill from going to the ER AGAIN) but I also don't want to not go in if I need to be seen.

Thinking of you!!! I'm glad that everything is ok! I had a minor scare last week with a really bad BH contraction and thought it may be preterm labor. These Nov babies are causing us a bit too much excitement!

Thinking of you! I hope your OB says everything is ok. Honestly, if it wasn't and if they were more worried, they would have had you in Tuesday, right?

Sounds very similar to my situation starting when I was 29 weeks pregnant. If you want to chat, PM me. I don't want to scare you with all the stuff that ended up happening between 29 weeks and 36 weeks, so I won't describe what happened here, but do PM me if things develop more.

And, for what it's worth, Baby X ended up being born at 40 weeks and 1 day. Everything could turn out just fine. :)

@winniebee: I'm realllly hoping not to end up on bed rest like you did. The ER doctor didn't mention it. So I guess we'll see what my OB says on Wed.

So yesterday I had some bloody mucus. It was very minimal but I decided I would call my doctor today just to let them know what was going on. Well my primary was out and the on call doc decided I needed to go to the ER. My husband and I both thought that sounded a little extreme but I wasn't going to argue with her. So off I went. Well shortly after they hooked me up baby decided to scare the crap out of all of us and have two major heart rate drops. So doc ordered IV fluids and internal and external ultrasound. Baby looked perfect and they decided the heart rate drops were probably just baby squeezing the cord. So that was good news but then they inform me that I am in fact having preterm contractions. Since my cervix is long, firm, and closed I'm not actually in pre term labor. They gave me a medicine that works on smooth tissue and the contractions stopped right away. So now I have to stay on the meds every six hours round the clock. It is scary to me that I was contracting but I can't feel it so I didn't know it was happening. I have a follow up with my OB Wed morning to come up with a long term plan. This baby is so much drama!!!
