I walked, swam, weight trained, & did yoga throughout my pregnancy. Towards the end I'd go to the pool and walk in the water, do squats & plies, etc. Pool-time helped reduce swelling.

I haven't exercised as much post pregnancy except for some yoga & baby wearing. Lately I've been trying to do the Erin O'Brien Postnatal Fitness Fix. I also have the Pre-natal DVD, but I think I got through about 15 minutes of it while pregnant before I sat down on the couch to watch the rest of the DVD!

I worked out 5 x/wk pre-TTC and while TTC - mostly running and Jillian Michael's workouts. I thought I would continue running religiously during pregnancy. I continued to run up until 9 weeks pregnant, but haven't run the past 3 weeks. I have been super busy at work and pretty tired. I still get to the gym 3-4 x/wk but usually do the elliptical. I hope to start running again and do plan to continue to workout throughout my pregnancy.

I've been doing yoga, both regular and prenatal! I never did it a lot before but I am really enjoying it. I can definitely see the benefits.

Good for you! While TTC, I tried to work out, but wasn't really dedicated to it. Now that I'm pregnant, I really want to be healthy to make this easier for me and baby. So now I'm really trying to walk as much as I can and I'm doing prenatal yoga at least once a week. I'm also trying to do some freestanding squats and push-ups to beef up a bit.

Here's the yoga I'm doing. Just did the 2nd trimester, and boy it was a work out! Lots of squats and lunges.

I just ran a mile without stopping. It took 12 minutes, but I still feel accomplished! :) I'm not the athletic type, but as we are starting our TTC journey, I am trying to make it a habit to workout 3x a week. Running when I can and incorporating workout videos when I feel up for a lil Jillian.

From experience, how did your workout regiment change pre-during-post pregnancy?

Are there any pregnancy-friendly workout videos/routines you'd recommend?
