I have always sugared and am continuing to do so up until now. I have noticed it is a little more sensitive than usual but I intend to keep going as long as I can.

I also shaved blind. A bit scary, but no injuries! My SIL had to stop getting waxed in the third trimester, too painful.

Wow, all you blind shavers are very brave!!! I kind of have been letting it go - but I feel unattractive enough with the swollen ankles, sausage fingers and heartburn. The forest has got to go! Lol.

To all you waxers, do you ever get get red bumps/ingrown hairs? I used to do when I waxed, and this time I won't even be able to see them to treat them. Any tips there?

I was just thinking of posting this exact same question! I'm pretty much doing it blind now, and it makes me so nervous every time! I'm seriously considering letting it go - I'm not shaving as much as I usually do, so as it starts to grow back, it's itchy as hell! I sit in my office and scratch away. So awful!

Blind shaving here, I had one painful incident in the beginning but have been fine ever since. Oh and I lately I have only do it when I know the doctor will be checking me, I have been very lazy in the lady grooming department (that includes legs!) haha

I have always waxed so it hardly hurts now. What I would say is that if you have always shaved the hair down there will be very coarse and if waxed will hurt like hell.
I hope you find a solution!

How about a hair removal cream like Immac? You could stand in front of a mirror and lather it on as best you can - it doesn't matter if it gets everywhere - then shower it off afterwards?

I blindly shaved! When I was pregnant with DS I tried to wax myself because shaving was getting so hard. Well, lets just say, I made myself bleed and ended up getting my legs stuck together, with just as much hair as I started with! So, blind shaving with both babies for me! :)

I go au naturel for the most part anyway. Skin is too sensitive, I think - I get all itchy and bumpy even when I just straighten up.

I would have to say, are you gonna want to shave/deal with stubble after the birth? To me that's making a bad situation worse! Maybe better to let it grow out now?

Hahaha, I was talking about this to one of my friends, and she told me a story of how she shaved when she was pregnant with her son, and she thought she got it all, but when she looked in the mirror, she had missed a whole strip that was covered by her belly. She said it looked like her belly had a mustache! I laughed so hard.

It might be painful if you haven't had it done in a while, but I actually thought it wasn't that bad (way less painful than the one I got today). I would try to get at least one done before the one before you give birth. In my case, my nurse was very appreciative that I had just gotten waxed because she was going to have to shave me for my c-section (unplanned).
