So just a wee update, I picked up a test while out doing the groceries this morning and it was positive!

All going well, EDD is the end of March!

With both pregnancies it felt like AF was right around the corner. With the second one, I had the benefit of knowing that the first had felt like that so I did suspect a little. I was also emotional for the second one and had pinches/twinges in my ovaries.

I wasn't charting or TTC with #1 and knew a few days before my period was due because I had so much rage! I also had abnormal cramping. But the rage really gave it away!

Thanks for all the responses ladies :-) Going by when I think I O'd I'm at roughly 14dpo but my cycles aren't yet regular (still bf'ing) so I could be completely wrong! I'm trying not to be too hopeful as it took awhile to get pregnant with Miss A and we're only on the second month of TTC.

Yep with # 1 I suspected I was pregnant, but wasn't sure until I got the blatant BFP in the Walmart bathroom ;)

With #2, I knew before I tested.

I knew before testing with #2 because I was having the same weird half-period/half-spotting that I did with #1.
BUT, both pregnancies I thought I was out initially because it appeared I had started my period until I finally caught on 3 or 4 days later.

I thought I "knew" every single month! But for my first 2 pregnancies I was a little more sure. For this one (sticky) I was pretty sure I was out.

#1- no idea, we were just starting to try and figured it was a long shot that we actually got pregnant the first time.

#2- I thought I knew 2 days before I took the test, but then had some spotting so I figured AF was showing up. My sense of smell has been crazy, that was my first hint. And sore boobs. I'll take it though, symptoms mean something's happening!

Nope! At least not consciously. It may have known subconsciously though because I randomly tested without stopping to talk myself out of testing like I usually do. The positive completely shocked me when I saw it.

When I got BFP with DS 1, the only reason. I tested was because AF was due and Dh and I were going on our valentines day date. Came back postive I was shocked and excited as was Dh. When we got BFP with DS 2 the only clue I had was almost getting ill at my desk at work. I even tested at work. Funny because looking back if made sense.

I was the opposite. I absolutely knew with LO1 that I was pregnant a week before POAS. With LO2, we were actively TTC but I had no idea until I got a BFP!

Nope, no clue either time. The only symptom before becoming violently ill at 8 weeks is one day of exhaustion at 6 dpo.

My DH and I were getting ready for a date night and I looked at him and said "I think I might be pregnant because I've been having crazy weird dreams like I did right before our BFP with DS" sure enough I got a BFP that night on a dollar store text and I'm due next month with #2.

I was SO sure I was pregnant and so wrong the first few months. This and the first time I was pregnant I had a few little things I thought might be hints but I blew them off pretty quickly! Good luck!!!

I suspected with #1 because of really weird overnight symptoms, woke up the next am and immediate BFP first time POAS.

#2.. umm nope. I thought we had put it on hold, had very slim odds for obvious reasons, but realized I hadn't had my period in 4 weeks... and was peeing often... and my pants weren't fitting... D'oh. Looking back it's sort of obvious but, yeah!

FWIW We'd been trying since January. First cycle after he weaned, bam. That was all it took for me.

When we got our BFP with Miss A I knew is was knocked up before I even thought about peeing on sticks (I'd been charting for six months) but now we're TTC for baby #2, I have NO idea what my cycle or body is doing!

So how about it? Did you know without testing when it came to second or subsequent babies?

(And I am totally doing the whole boob-poking, symptom spotting thing but it's tough because I'm still nursing and have no definite feel for when I ovulated this month!)
