I have noticed it, not around my scar but just abdominal soreness in general that I didn't have with my first.

I am only 7 weeks, but have noticed more back pain and achiness in general this time around. My scar was also randomly very itchy for couple of days.

@LuLu Mom: Mine is primarily on my right side as well. Interesting!

Thanks for all the comments ladies, I feel much better about it. I'll mention it at my next check up but I'm not worried that it's too serious.

In general, rlp is worse the second time around. I don't have the experince of another pregnancy after my c section, but my second and third pregnancies were way more unconfortable

Hmm, I guess I've had more round ligament pain with this pregnancy, but I never considered it was due to my scar/scar tissue. I just thought it was because I was getting bigger faster since it was my second pregnancy. (it seemed to be more on my right side than around my scar.)

I noticed pain and tightness and pulling around my scar line in my third tri & chalked it up to scar tissue stretching. I never did find out what it was, though.

I did have pain/cramping around my scar in the first trimester. My OB said it was unrelated, but I'm skeptical about that because it was exactly where my scar is. I'm almost 26 weeks now and don't notice it anymore.

Also, I agree with @ValentineMommy that second pregnancies tend to be more uncomfortable overall. I've had a lot more back pain than I ever remember having with my first. You just don't get to relax as much!

I had some tightness and pulling at my csection scar in the first trimester and I definitely had more round ligament pain this time around. I'm 15 weeks now, and my csection was 2 years ago.

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. I think second pregnancies are tougher anyway, especially when you have a toddler to run around after! Hope you feel better!

Just curious whether any mama's who previously had a c-section, experienced abdominal pain/soreness in your next pregnancies? I had a c-section almost 20 months ago and I'm 14 weeks pregnant. I never experienced a ton of round ligament pain with my first but I am definitely sore this time around. I'm wondering if that's due to scar tissue starting to stretch inside? It's definitely muscular soreness and I'm not overly concerned because there's no shooting pains or pains I would classify as concerning but I'm definitely sore and more on one side than the other. I've watched for other symptoms in case it's something different (fever, bleeding, pain etc...) but there's been nothing else.

Anyone experience this?
