OOHHH, so easily annoyed right now at 28 weeks! I also freak out over smells. Like I had a minor panic attack during a long car ride because I could smell cow manure and we were eating lunch and I just couldn't eat while smelling poop.

My poor husband, my emotions are all over the place!

Someone please tell me this goes away. At least tell me that it comes and goes. I am on and off a miserable B and I'm only 4 weeks pregnant!

@Mae: Hahhaha... I totally agree, my husband is wonderful, but we all have our oddities. I know that he has a few minor things that he would change about me

@BakerBee: haha we should get our husbands together. The food thing has sort of always bugged me, but I think my ability to NOT say something is what has taken a hit in pregnancy. I just can't stand fingers in your mouth. There is no reason. Unless, I guess, you are eating ribs or wings or something-- I can handle it then with appropriate wet naps near by. But my husband is a chronic finger licker with almost any food and it just drives me nuts. I told him that when we get to the stage where we are teaching our LO table manners, I want him to sit in on the lessons haha. (And now I'm feeling bad because he's really quite wonderful and this is such a minor thing. But yea. ew. lol)

Two years after having our second I still get easily annoyed with things that didn't bother me before. LOL! It could be the having two wild boys side effect. :D

@Mae: The fork thing just made me laugh out loud. I could SO see my husband doing this... he tries to over compensate (usually when others are around) and says things like "I don't want to upset her, she really feels the ups and downs of life to the fullest with this pregnancy." WTF?!? Maybe you just eat like an inmate having his last meal?

I may or may not have told him that he had to go eat outside. I don't remember ever noticing how freaking loud he ate until getting pregnant. He was eating ribs and I was close to vomiting. I felt like he was a wolverine and needed to suck the marrow out of the bone. I think our dogs would have eaten the ribs more politely.

Obviously this is a small point of contention these days. This and any kind of bodily noises. I'm not your frat brother, dude!

Yep, that totally happened to me when I was pregnant. Things that wouldn't normally bother me that much made me irrationally angry and I'd go from 0-60 in no time flat. Thankfully, it went away after dd was born.

@BakerBee: lol this. My husband does not (has never really) had the best manners while eating. I've made some efforts to reform him without straying too far into nagging territory, but at a certain point I do feel that we must accept our spouses, flaws and all. Apparently I failed in this effort last week as my husband was eating flavored popcorn out of a bag (licking his fingers, dumping popcorn direct from bag to mouth) when I declared that we had clearly been married too long if he felt comfortable with this disgusting display in front of me. lol. He was baffled. Last night he went to eat the same popcorn and in an apparent effort to not disgust me, he put it in a bowl which he then proceeded to eat out of with a fork. Which was weird but sweet and also made me feel a little bad that he was resorting to eating popcorn with a fork due to my previous outburst. But then at the same time when he got down to the end he started SCRRRAAAPING the sides of the bowl with the fork and eventually his finger (again, WHY WITH THE FINGERS IN THE MOUTH) to get every last molecule of flavor dust and I was so annoyed. And couldn't resist asking him why, oh why must he insist on eating every. last. molecule. Why can't you just let the flavored dust go? And he stated because it was delicious and he was normal and I was being ridiculous. Sigh. lol
