Hahah well on FB I'm getting elderberry syrup or gummies, OJ, Jewish penicillin (chicken soup) garlic , apple cider vinegar and of course rest as recommendations. So maybe some of those will work for you guys as well.

@cascademom: I hear ya at some point you want to yell uncle. I have my limits but I'm trying.

I gave up on natural immune boosting this week with this two week cold. I'm taking antibiotics and Mucinex. It's doing wonders. I feel human again. Hopefully the coughing will stop today.

Zinc is supposed to be an immune system booster, but your prenatals probably have them already. Other than that, I've been relying on rest and exercise. I'd also be interested to know what others found to be helpful!

damn i wish. I just try to rest and get some exercise and eat healthy (and limit sugar, which inhibits your immune fighting responses). But i'm with ya--been sick all winter! So obviously my methods sucks :)

I am on my second head cold during pregnancy. I really hate to take drugs if I can avoid them though I do cave when need be. Any good pregnancy safe immune boosting tips? I'm guessing eating two bags of skittles like I did yesterday was not effective treatment.
