With my first I ordered a bunch of others, but this was the one I liked the best and the one I ended up filling out. Love that it instigated weekly belly photos - I wore the same outfit (workout leggings and a black maternity tank) every week for the pic we would snap in the same spot in our apartment. It makes for an awesome time lapse! </p> <p>One tip: if you do weekly belly photos you might not start until a few months in, so just put random photos from your life or the week at hand earlier in the journal. Same thing if you miss a week later on. But one thing I am SOOO glad we did was after my LO was born (three weeks early) and we got home from the hospital I put on the same "belly photo outfit" and stood in the same spot and held 5-day old LO right against my belly where she would have been in utero. I did it again a week later. Those are the BEST finale to the belly series, as especially in the first one you can see exactly how she would have looked inside my belly (she even naturally went into her "Frank Breech" pose with her legs up by her face--fascinating). It is amazing to look at the last belly photo and then the first one with her, side by side, and LO loves to do this now that she's a toddler. It has really helped her understand that she WAS indeed in my belly. She got too wiggly to hold safely against my belly for any more post-birth photos, but during those first sleepy two weeks it worked perfectly and the pics are priceless!
