First trimester I was constantly hungry. Like really hungry. I had to eat at least every 2 hours or I would gain nauseous. I snacked constantly. A typical day was like this:

- calcium fortified OJ
- small bowl of cereal
- banana
- whole grain toast/english muffin
- V8
- chobani greek yogurt
- lunch
- apple
- fiber 1 bar
- golfish/popcorn/pretzels/nuts
- dinner
- glass of milk
- bedtime snack

I'm now 15 weeks and I still eat quite a bit but probably cut out a few snacks from the above list. When I get hungry I get HUNGRY. I gained 3 lbs in the first trimester (on a small frame) but haven't gained anything since then. My doctor said that when you are hungry, EAT because it's your body's way of telling you what you need during pregnancy.

First trimester if I didnt eat every 2 hours I felt very sick. 2nd trimester, I'm eating like normal, which is a very good thing because eating every 2 hours I was gaining too much weight.

My husband is always asking me if I will be partaking in dinner with him each evening. Since sometimes I'm not hungry or feeling well.

I try to snack throughout the day instead of the 3 meals, so usually I'll come home from work and scarf down some food, then have a small snack with him while he eats dinner.

The only intentionally different thing I've done is pay closer attention to my protein intake (we eat a mostly pescatarian diet) and I've eaten more cheese than normal. Also, I'm more conscientious about drinking a lot of water.
Other than that, I've paid attention to my body's cues when it comes to how much to eat, though I don't believe that that should include indulging every whim.
I've actually read several places that the whole "eating for 2" thing is a total myth and that's why so many women put on too much pregnancy weight.

I am not eating more. I'm letting myself eat what I want, though. Peanut butter cup at 9am? OK. I'm eating when hungry which is about every three to four hours, depending on my last meal.

I find myself snacking a lot inbetween meals =) I also heard that after baby arrives and if you decide to breast feed, you are 5x as hungry. Man oh man!

I'm not eating more, I'm not usually hungry, but when I am, I indulge! I eat as healthy as I can afford, and eat what I like.

I'm not really hungrier than I normally was prepregnancy. I don't/can't eat big meals so I snack throught the day but that's not really any different from my normal self.

Oh I am starving all the time so I had to come up with a food plan. I always make sure I have a glass of milk and eggs for breakfast. Then I bring about 4 snacks to work to help tide me over throughout the day such as fruit, juice, crackers. I eat 3 of the 4 snacks before lunch then the last one a couple hours after lunch. I haven't had full on m/s yet but I do find myself feeling horrible when I'm hungry. As a result I try to make sure there's something in my tummy at all times.

I am just coming out of my first trimester. I have had all day sickness, so many insane food aversions, and the increased sense of smell makes all of this so much worse. I have lost 15lbs so far.

However, today, the first day I've really felt good I've eaten a lot more. I have noticed that eating lots of smaller meals seems to work better for me. So I've switched up gorging once a day to eating on schedule.

I don't think I was any hungrier than usual during my pregnancy , which I found weird, since it's supposed to be the whole eating for two thing. But I believe in just listening to your body when it comes to food so if you are starving then you should be eating all day long. :-)

Did you go out of your way to eat more when you were/are pregnant? I'm still in early days but I'm starving almost all the time and need to snack all day long. Did you create a special pregnancy eating routine?
