I never had to get up MOTN to pee. Pregnancy insomnia kept me up, not my bladder.

I've always had to get up in the MOTN to pee, even when I wasn't pregnant (1-2 times per night). Now that I'm 25 weeks I'm getting up like 3-4 times a night. I think I just have the tiniest bladder ever though.

@BakerBee: How much water are you drinking a day?

I think I'm only doing it (getting up consistently at 4) because I drink water all night. If I didn't keep a giant bottle of water by the bed I probably wouldn't need to go in the middle of the night.

I probably get up 3 times each night, but I need to drink water during the night so I know I'm adding to the problem

@swedishfish: Ha, omigosh I probably just did. Do you think my husband will mind if I start wetting the bed? I'm super lazy and my sleep matters a lot.

@Mrs.Someone: Maybe I'm peeing before bed and not noticing. I will have to start watching that. I know I pee immediately upon waking up, but I thought everyone did that. I've never been in a setting where I felt comfortable polling others about their urinary experiences.. thank you, Hellobee!

I didn't get up a lot at night until LO dropped. Even when he was sideways breech I didn't, cause he wasn't sitting right on my bladder.

Now I do, though, at 38w...at least twice.

@swedishfish: Ditto :) @BakerBee: I feel like you just jinxed yourself! :)

I didn't have to get up till the last month of my pregnancy and it wasn't every night either.

I don't get up most of the time! Every once in a while I'll wake up early and need to go, but most of the time I sleep straight through. However, I try and pee just before bed!

Has anyone NOT experienced needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? I am 19 weeks and never wake-up having to go in the night. I read the other due date twin boards (and my own) and it seems that everyone else experiences this. I think I am drinking enough water, but suddenly I'm worried that I'm not because I don't have to pee in the middle of the night. Baby is still moving so I figure she has enough amniotic fluid, but now I'm worrying about that too.

Thoughts? Anyone just not experience this symptom until later in their pregnancy?
