@googly-eyes: Everything I've read says that pregnancy dreams/nightmares are REALLY common... what with all the hormones and worry combining :) Especially ones like leaving the baby at home, or being in some way incapable of taking care of the baby so don't worry, you're totally normal!
I had one the other night that I woke up having menstrual-like cramps and realized I was crowning. I had the baby and while it was uncomfortable, it wasn't that bad. Then I was trying to find my husband and was told he had "gone into town to pick up a package", but by the time he got back I couldn't figure out where our son had gone. He had disappeared and my husband didn't seem concerned at all even though I was freaking out. I'm 36w3d :)

I have very weird dreams. One that I have had a couple times, it isn't really a nightmare but kind of.

I have this dream where I go into labor and I have a baby, but I pass out after I deliver. Then when I come to my hubbie is there holding our baby and he tells me that he named her this god awful name. I get so mad at him because there is nothing I can do about it, because he already did all the paperwork and everything. So my poor kid is left with the horrible name for their entire life.

@MOMMACOMMAPHD I was hoping someone would say it's somewhat normal! :) It's funny though because I KNOW I would never do something like that IRL. Lol.

@JESSIEJ017 Hope you don't have it too often! Mine was just the once and it was terrifying. :(

I had nightmares too. I think it's to be expected since it's obviously on your mind a lot when you're awake.

Did anyone else have pregnancy nightmares? Sort of like pre-wedding nightmares but baby or pregnancy related?

Anyway now that I am pregnant I have had a couple of scary baby-related ones. A few nights ago I had one that I miscarried. (I'm 8w2d and still in the first trimester so still worried about that.) Then last night I had one where we had our baby (a boy!) but the week we got back from the hospital decided to go out shopping for something and totally FORGOT the baby at home! When I realized that we'd forgotten the baby we were trying to rush home and our tire went flat but we used the car anyway. I found the baby amid clutter on the kitchen table looking pretty weak. I was absolutely freaking out and trying to feed the baby when I woke up! I kept crying and saying "I'm the the worst mother in the entire world!"

I was so relieved when I woke up. Anyone else have some stories? I can't be the only one!
