Everyone I know who didn't do them because try "felt fat" regretted it later on. I had a lot of health issues and it was summer and I was so over it. But the second I stood up without my belly, I felt empty. Like I didnt properly say goodbye to her while still inside me. </p> <p>I regret that I kind of took it for granted. Im a science person, so I had this very "its science. Sperm and egg meet and make a baby" approach, and as soon as I saw her I was like "WOW. There is a huge miracle behind the science." I feel like I took that for granted. </p> <p>I also regret not getting more pics of myself while I was pregnant. I just felt so blah about myself that I didnt think of it. It makes me sad</p> <p>I dont regret not taking a babymoon. I never wanted one. Although we did go to San Fran when I was about 17 weeks pregnant to see my brother. At my 20 week ultrasound, they told me something might be wrong with my LO and to take another one at 24 weeks. I waited around in agony for a whole month only to be told that it was nothing and that the original ultrasound technician was wrong. I should have gotten a 2nd opinion right away!!!! But now that baby is here and hubby and I have hardly any time alone, I wish we would have taken a trip to really invest in our last bit of alone time for the next 20-ish years.</p> <p>I also regret not buying a nice high-quality pair of jeans haha. I was eyeing Citizens or Paige maternity jeans, but didn't want to shell out $100 for them... if only I knew that at 7 weeks post-partum I'd still have 20+ lbs to lose and still be wearing the one pair of maternity jeans I have. Now I don't want to succumb to the fact that I'm definitely a size bigger and actually buy bigger pants. </p>
