@little misters mom: Thanks, this looks like what I'd need. It's only happened a few times so far but I've gotten severe sharp pain at my pubic symphysis, and I'm worried it'll get worse as I get bigger. With DD I remember having some discomfort but not the sharp pains I've had recently.

I just commented about this on another thread, but if it's SPD don't bother with the pregnancy support belts and get yourself a Serola SI belt. I had both, but didn't get the SI belt until the last week or so after the physical therapist recommended it. The pregnancy belts are a nice little bit of extra lift and support but just not enough to address serious pubic/pelvic/SI support issues. It's the same price but a WORLD of difference.

I have chronic hip pain which is exacerbated during pregnancy. I got one with my second pregnancy and it made a huge difference. Like being able to walk vs not. But by the middle of my third tri even that didn't really help much.

I got the same one as @BabyTsMom :

@BeachMama: I'm not sure if what I had was the same type of pain, but I did use a support belt in my late 2nd-3rd trimesters. I just felt a lot of pressure on my pelvis and bladder, so the belt really helped to support my belly. I used a really cheap, simple one (some of the ones I looked at on Amazon are really elaborate!): http://www.amazon.com/Its-You-Babe-Cradle-136-180/dp/B000I615Q4/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1416596801&sr=8-7&keywords=pelvic+support+belt

I bought one with my last pregnancy. I wish I had bought it sooner! It may not be stylish but it helped me so much with pain. I had super intense hip pain. I will be using it on any future pregnancies.

I was just going to ask about the same thing! I'm only 18 weeks and no pain yet, but last pregnancy was brutal towards the end so I want to be prepared.

I've been getting some pubic symphysis pain lately and am considering getting one of those pregnancy support belts. I'm 24 weeks and am worried it's just going to get worse over the next few months as I get bigger. Has anyone used one and felt it helped? Any recommendations?
