I told my dad and then my mom at 8 weeks - I wanted to tell them together, but my mom was at a social function. My dad didn't want to get in trouble for *holding out* on my mom,, so he asked me to call her on her cell phone. I did, and she had me on speaker, so the whole room errupted in cheers when I told her. I'm kinda glad, cus that made it a little more special for her, too. I wasn't supposed to test til after AF was due, but I had some cramps (which I never get before AF) and really sore boobs, so I had to just test to "stop thinking I was pregnant." I was planning on hiding the negative test at the bottom of the trashcan. I waited for him to leave to walk the dog, took a test, saw pregnant pop up immediately, freaked out and called my sister.
