I would go. I'll be 34 weeks, taking my son to the circus soon. You won't hurt her. The noise will interest her, though.

At Christmastime I took my son to a parade, and a base drum stopped right in front of us while a marching band played, and the beats made her jump, which was kinda fun to experience.

I would keep the seats and go but maybe bring a pillow if you aren't sure. You can buy those small toddler/travel half size pillows from WalMart for like $3. It would fit in a small tote bag.

I saw surgarland when I was about 30 weeks, she kicked around a bit but it wasn't too bad. The Harry potter movie was worse than the concert she kicked so much I almost threw up.

We went to several concerts when I was pregnant, you aren't going to affect the baby's hearing. Case in point, my baby had a lower heart rate at one of my appointments & to "wake her up" they pretty much put a blow horn to my stomach at the doctor's office to give her a jolt. One concert isn't going to cause issues.

I didn't vote, but wouldn't it be fairly loud no matter where you sit? Assuming the venue has good acoustics, and I imagine it does. I think I'd probably still go.

My husband works in the music industry and I was side stage/backstage until 37 weeks. The only thing that startled the baby was when it was really quiet & an alarm/siren went off.

I sat 2nd row at a Blake Shelton concert right around that time. I can't remember when baby's ears develop but my doctor assured me that the baby is underwater so even really loud noises would be muffled enough, unless it were something that were loud enough to hurt my own ears. Just in case I brought a puffy coat and put it over my belly!

Ok, I need some opinions! My DH purchased front row tickets to a Stomp show as a surprise for my upcoming birthday weeks before we found out we were expecting. I mentioned it to my midwife the other day who was on the fence on whether I should change seats or not. Her concern is that the sounds might startle the baby or hurt baby's ears. I'll be 26 weeks along the night of show. My DH suggested taking a pillow to put over my belly to muffle sounds, which she said I could try or to change seats.

I don't know what to do! Should we change seats to be on the safe side? Is Stomp really that loud?
