Because I had totally regular cycles (~27-29 days) and all the signs of ovulation (egg white cervical mucus, positives on ovulation predictor kits, and sore boobs after ovulation) the Dr. knew I was ovulating and we bypassed blood work to check on my hormone levels. Instead, I was scheduled for an HSG to see if my tubes were open and DH had an SA. The first tests a bunch of hormone levels, the second is supposed to be 7dpo to see if you are actually ovulating. Well, we are on the first day of cycle 10 and seeing as how I believe that seeing that 2nd pink line is now a myth for us and we have timed everything month after month, DH and I have decided to see my doctor. My question to all you wonderful people - what should I expect/ask for? My Ob/gyn said they can do SA. Will they do bloodwork? For both?
