i was already being seen every two weeks to one a month pre-pregnancy and kept it up or went more often as needed. by the end though, each chiro (i've seen 3 different ones each pregnancy as i've been in different cities each time) recommends following OB appt schedules, so going to every 3 weeks, then 2 weeks, then every week going up to delivery. also, afterward is important as your body still has all those relaxins, so you can correct a lot of issues post delivery for you and baby by continuing regular care after as well!

I'd already gone every other week or so for neck & back adjustments, but went weekly from about 36wks to 40wks specifically to help get ready for delivery.

Oh, I also wanted to mention the chiro would put KT tape on my back to help with the weight of my stomach as I neared the end. Helped tremendously when I knew I would be out walking a lot. Since it was my second pregnancy I still had to keep up with mt first child, the KT tape helped.

I went once every 6 weeks or so, starting at 20 weeks - so it wasn't significant. I thought about it with my 2nd pregnancy and almost made an appt, but didn't.

I threw my back out when I was between 15 and 17 weeks pregnant. I had experienced previous back issues before I was pregnant, so I started back going to my prior chiropractor at that point. I was in a lot of pain, so I went a lot more often at first. I continued seeing the chiropractor until I delivered. I think I eventually got to a pace of going every other week to every 3 weeks.

I started at 25 weeks with my second. I hard horrible pelvic pain with my first and never saw a chiropractor until 18 months post partum when my back was killing me! My second pregnancy I wanted to be proactive. I started out twice a week and then went to once a week until I gave birth. It helped tremendously!

34 weeks with my second, twice a week and then once a week from 38-40 weeks. Mine wasn’t for pain though, but for positioning help. I think any time around 30+weeks is probably a good time to start because things are probably getting uncomfortable.

I started around 30 weeks with both pregnancies. That's when my hip/back pain really kicked up.

If you did prenatal chiro, when did you start and how often did you go as things progressed?

I did it last time and thought it definitely helped. But my pregnancy brain can’t remember any of the details. I think I was probably at least 30 weeks maybe more when I started, not sure if earlier is better. I probably just went after every OB appt since it was on the way :silly:

Thanks!
