i also take vitafusion gummy prenatals. as JHD said, they don't have iron. i never supplemented with iron bc i really didn't want the constipating side effects. i just had my hemoglobin rechecked at 24 weeks and it was a-ok.

i just keep my prenatals on my bedside table and take the as soon as i wake up in the morning

I keep my vitamins where I can see them, otherwise I won't take them. I also take mine at night, after I have emptied my bladder.

I am taking vitafusion gummy prenatals. I hate swallowing pills & i can be consistent with the gummies. They have DHA but no iron or calcium. I have been taking one viactiv caramel each day to supplement my calcium intake. My obgyn said not to worry about the iron until 2nd tri. (I'm still ttc)

I take One A Days. They come in two bottles: one regular prenatals and one prenatal with DHA. I think DHA is the key thing to have. I've scoped all offerings at target and some prenatals don't include the dha. My ob/gyn prescribed a prenatal during my preconception appointment. I went to pick up the prescription and it was going to cost me $50 for a 30 day supply. No way, Jose!

Thanks so much ladies! Great recs and I will look into the one-a-day. I asked my doc if prenatals were really necessary. He gave me a nasty look and said just take them. Haha.

Gummy vitamins: I would probably eat the entire jar in one sitting.

I'm with @Vegmama, I do rainbow lights. I really like them. I take that and the rainbow light DHA tabs. They are the only vitamins I have ever been able to take that have not made to super ill.

My favorite are the Rainbow Light Prenatal One. They are plant based & 100% natural. They are a one-a-day, which I love.

I was hopeless at remembering my prenatals while TTC, and now in 3rd trimester I'm still forgetting them a few times a week. But I'm 39 weeks pregnant, and baby is healthy...so it couldn't have been *that* detrimental (NOT RECOMMENDED - NOT MEDICAL ADVICE haha).
The once-a-day formula is probably easiest to remember - and I found that if I keep them next to my bathroom sink, I take them right before brushing my teeth.

I took the Target or Vitafusion gummies. They taste really good but was the only way I would take then consistently. I sound like a child, but I always forgot with the pills

I use New Chapter Prenatals, as recommended by my ND. They are tablets though, and also 3/day. My ND did say its OK to take them all at once though, so maybe you can at least finish what you have that way?

I take the Target brand, once a day is the dosage. It goes down really easy. Plus, it's only a few bucks for 100 of them. My OB said there is no need to spend tons on name brand prenatals.

we're currently TTC and my gyno recommended prenatals. i've been taking them for about two months off and on, but i have been really inconsistent.

did anyone else struggle with taking prenatals consistently? i'm so bad about taking my vitamins and i'm wondering if it's really detrimental overall. my current ones are Garden of Life Code Raw Prenatals. the dosage is 3x a day which i think is the killer part. can anyone recommend a prenatal that you take once a day in capsule form (not tablet) that doesn't make you gag? also, would love recommendations on an OTC prenatal that includes stool softener (in case i need it later).
