We just changed schools and he has been saying "no sorri" (for Montessori). The daycare teachers at our centre said it usually lasts ~2 weeks. With that said, my little guy still cries every Monday 3.5 months after starting daycare but is happy as a clam the rest of the week. She loves her school and always stopped crying right after drop off.</p> <p>M. didn't cry the first 2 days. She did cry yesterday. We'll see how long it takes.</p> <p>Crying at the drop off transition means that your child has a normal healthy attachment to you. I know this is good stimulation for him but it makes me sad to think he may not be having a great time. He cried the first day when I dropped him off and a tiny bit the second day but since then he's just protested without crying.... </p>
