Before she always came home for lunch. </p> <p>We pay a school supply fee so we don't have to provide any school supplies. They also provide milk at lunch for a small fee. And she gets water at snack time but I'll send her with a mini camelbak for her cubby. We got her a Yumbox for packing lunch as well as one of their lunch bags. She'll just reuse her Skip Hop backpack from last year. They also ask us to bring a yoga mat for rest time with a small blanket and if we want a pillow. I may still get them each a water bottle to be for school only. I bought coats/vests at the end of last season, and I'm pretty sure we've got both rain and snow boots to fit everyone.</p> <p>@lawbee11: Interesting on the gymnastics/dance gear. My DD will be taking ballet &amp; gymnastics as part of her school day as well, but so far I haven't heard anything about the kids changing for those classes. I kind of hope they do; DD is used to taking ballet/gymnastics outside of school and is pretty into all the outfits she gets to wear! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/preschool-back-to-school#post-2604840 Tue, 16 Aug 2016 14:01:27 +0000 KayKay 2604840@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>This will be the first time that both DDs are going to school, and both are going 5 days/week, so I needed another lunchbox/water bottle for DD2, plus a couple extra lunchbots/etc to pack their stuff in since I'll be packing for 2 everyday.</p> <p>They also both needed little toddler pillows and a canvas (washable) bag to transport their nap stuff to/from school each week.</p> <p>Plus DD1 is taking dance so I got her some ballet &amp; tap shoes and a new leotard. </p> <p>They were both obviously outgrowing their old athletic shoes, so I got them a new pair each. But I haven't even done a real investigation into what other sort of fall gear still fits/not -- like rain jacket, warmer shoes/boots, fall clothes, fleece jackets...and clearly not even thought about winter stuff! We got both of those!</p> <p>My MIL really wants to buy her something but I'm not even sure what to tell her. I think she may get her an LL Bean rain jacket, because she did outgrow hers. I know she wants to help but we haven't gotten any school supply list or anything like that..I don't think they even get one at all.</p> <p>What's been on your back to school list? </p>
