We used preseed the first month of trying and got our little boy (now 17 months). I didn't use it in the proper way tho, more for lube rather than inserting it.
I have just ordered some more as we have been TTC baby #2 for awhile now.

I'm very sorry for your loss, but miscarriages are heart-breakingly common. I completely understand wanting something to point at as the reason, but Preseed is just a lubricant.

I used it twice, and conceived both times. I miscarried the first and have a very healthy 2 year old boy from the second.

I have heard of people using coconut or canola oils, if you'd still like to consider something more natural.

Good luck!

@Ashleyf21: I think there's just better awareness of early miscarriages since pregnancy tests are now so sensitive - woman are made aware of chemical pregnancies, whereas in the past, they may have been undetected.

We used Preseed and have a precious little boy now. If it makes you uncomfortable maybe think about using coconut oil. That doesn't hinder sperm motility and it's all natural. That's what we use as our day to day lube. Be careful though it can stain your sheets, so put a towel down.

@Ashleyf21: we used the same stuff as @Raindrop: and conceived our son the first cycke we used it too!! I remember reading differing opinions on preseed and it made me too nervous to use it! Good luck!

Oh also I don't think I have much CM either but it really only needs to be up by your cervix anyway! We have conceived quickly 3 times so even though I always feel "dry" obviously I'm not...

@Ashleyf21: I am so sorry you are stressed out. I totally understand the stress in not knowing what causes a loss but I promise that the lube you used didn't cause your miscarriage. I get the whole google thing but you can attribute anything you want to a loss when you don't have a tangible answer (i.e. diet, having sex during pregnancy, exercise, stress, getting a massage.) I am sure you did all you could and your actions had no bearing on the outcome.
On the other hand, if your husband hates the "feel" that's totally fine! There are lots of options. My DH doesn't like preseed either.
I am hoping and praying that we get to hear about your :bfp: very very soon!

@Ashleyf21: it's all anecdotal is the problem. There haven't been any scientific studies to prove it and miscarriage is already so common. I can't speak to the heartbreak one must feel having a loss and I'm sure it's hard not to feel like anything and everything is a factor. Luckily there are alternatives out there for you to try that might make you feel less nervous. I hope we see you with a happy healthy rainbow baby soon.

@mrsmccarthy well google tells me otherwise. I have a love/hate relationship with it lol! It you google preseed there are tons of forums saying that is causes miscarriage. But with all these women saying they had healthy babies and pregnancies with it, it makes me believe that it was all a coincidence.
