The pretty immediate backlash the Irish gave the Chinese for example, when the Irish were certainly not welcomed here with open arms. But, I've yet to see Trump surround himself with great advisors that can help him navigate the political arena where he lacks experience and intelligence. I'm not sure why the people who use this as their logic don't see the same. At the end of the day, our President has to play well with all of the other politicians on the hill and around the world. Trump becoming a politician and being successful without surrounding himself with strong advisors to navigate the process will be a failure. Much like if anyone of us decided to make a drastic career change without adapting to the new career.
