But she swore by this place.<br /> You buy it online here then call and make an appointment. When you get there you show them the code from the online purchase. You just have to pay the tax in store (like $5) and tip in cash on the full value (so I do a $50 tip). My hair has grown out quite a bit, but it’s still going strong on the ends. I could stand to get it redone but I’m not sure if I want to quite yet. My stylist’s prices just went up in March to $260. She’s considered reasonable. Ive seen a lot of $300+ in other neighborhood salons. BUT when I lived in NYC i would always book through Groupon or Lifebooker and get it like 50-75% off. I’m a SuperCuts kind of girl and I’ve never been to a salon for anything. </p> <p>The salon in my neighborhood lists $275 for a keratin treatment. Is that reasonable (I’m in a HCOL area)? How much do prices vary? I assume to a certain extent you get what you pay for so I’m not looking for bargain basement. </p>
