I second vistaprint. We were really happy with our wedding save the dates from there. My sister made the design, and we uploaded it and they came out great.

If you don't have too many to do and there is not too much colour involved, you can just print it on regular water colour paper (buy a pad at an art store), exacto it, and round corners. we did this for our (hundreds) of wedding invites. here is a great tutorial:

We use the UPS Store. They've always done a great job & I spent less than 10 bucks on 25 double-sided invites for P's birthday!

Before finding them we printed at the local college's Media Services department (where they do their in-house printing).

We don't have a Staples but OfficeDepot was an arm & leg comparatively so we refuse to use them.

I embossed our wedding invites using my home printer (Epson Artisian) and they came out great! So much more cost effective and we had them instantly.

I had my wedding invitations printed at a local Staples print shop, which was fine, though there were a lot of small mishaps, and it was text only-- if you wanted photos or something on it, I have no idea how the quality would be. They also cut them down to size for me-- so I'd print 2 on a page then they used their big machine to cut it down to the grid marks.

I've also designed things and uploaded them to Vista Print without a problem, always cheap, but sometimes the turn around time can be a little long. One tip-- if you place multiple orders and only pay the fastest shipping for one order, they will just about always ship them all to you at the fastest speed, since it's cheaper for them to ship once. And always, always look for promo codes with them- never pay full price.

I use a local print shop. I design invites for a living and love having a local shop that knows me and I know their quality. If its a small run, I just print at home and cut.

I have just used a local print shop. They have done a great job working with me. Weight of paper, matte/glossy, color, etc.

I actually used them to print our wedding invites too!

I've used local print shops with good results for my wedding invitations and save-the-dates. For baby shower invitations and moving announcements, I've printed them at home on nice paper with an inkjet printer and had great results.

I printed my wedding invitations on nice paper on my regular laser printer, then I cut them to size using a roller cutter. They turned out amazing and were inexpensive (especially since I designed them myself too lol)

I have actually used the local Kinkos in the past and been very pleased! The quality was great and they were able to print samples on different cardstock for me so I could pick what I liked best.

I use MPIX based on a recommendation here. They aren't super cheap but the card stock is cheap and great quality. We used them for birth announcements and baptism invites.

I'm using a local printing shop in my town. I found it to be cheaper and better quality then what I could find online or walmart/walgreens. Do you have anything like that around?

I had DS 1st bday invites printed at shutterfly, my tip is google for coupon codes before you pay b/c you can put in more than one and it usually saves you a lot of money. :) Also I print a few extra to have them as keepsakes. It runs for me about a dollar an invite in the end. Which is on the pricey side I think.
