I like using uPrinting.com for photos that large. The prices are quite good, and the quality seems to be pretty good. Biggest thing though, make sure your photo has enough resolution to be printed that large, or you're going to get a pixellated photo back...

@Mae: we have local printers that will print that large. :) I use them regularly for work but exploring other options as well. :)

Printing honeymoon photos and they were all taken at high res so printing large shouldn't be a problem. :)

It is hard to find consumer labs that will print THAT large. You can get up to 24x36 pretty much anywhere though, if that will work for you. My fav consumer labs are mpix and adoramapix (both of which will print up to 24x36). Also at that size I'd recommend doing a canvas print rather than just a large scale photo (when you factor in nice matting/framing the cost different prob won't be a ton).

I do know that http://www.colorincprolab.com does larger size photos and will work with non-pros, although I haven't personally used them so I can't vouch for them. Unfortunately the company I've ordered larger prints through is pros-only (you need a vendor # and to go through an approval process).

Also keep in mind that you have to have a VERY high resolution photo for it to look good in that scale, so you may not even be able to order it that large.

I would think Mpix would do it since they are used by Pros as well.

Has anyone printed large format photos before?

Looking to print some high resolution images at roughly 30x42. Thanks!
