I was worried when I was around 20 weeks bc I hadn't felt Any movement until 23 or 24 weeks. Turns out I have an anterior placenta, which prevented me from feeling early flutters. I'm now at 27 weeks and feeling more defined kicks... And they're most active at night or when I'm laying down. I wouldn't be worried in your shoes. :)

Late 20s like 25/26 and the movement is going to change from time to time sometimes soft and sometimes hard. It's too early to worry right now

It felt like forever before I felt consistent movement... like 24 weeks or something. Then there was another spike in the amount of moment around 30 weeks. Sounds very normal!

@Cherrybee: You're totally right and they are always super sweet about weird questions.

@SweetiePie: I am glad he decided to start being super wiggly again! I am sure at some point we are both going to be hoping for a lazy baby day but in the mean time it is so fun to feel. I have noticed that before I always felt her on the right side and now it is more on the left and middle so it totally makes sense that she moved enough that it isn't as obvious as before.

@Cole: I had a similar situation over the weekend! I am 23 weeks tomorrow (so was 22 last weekend) and I barely felt him move from Friday to Monday. And I had been feeling him consistently and strongly (husband can feel and see him kicking me) for a couple weeks prior.
So I was really nervous. I broke out the Doppler for the first time since probably 12 weeks. Of course everything was ok, I guess he was just in a weird position. This week I've felt him but still not as strongly. And then yesterday it was like a party in there again!

So, all that to say, I'm sure everything is fine and you'll feel him/her again soon enough :-) I read that just like we have lazy days, baby can have lazy days too :-)

Yup, there's no need to worry at all. That said, don't ever worry about annoying your midwives - that's what they're there for! They would rather you call and it be nothing than worry yourself silly!

Thanks! I figured as much but thought maybe I should check with someone without calling the midwives again!

You probably won't feel consistent movement until around 22/23 weeks - most likely morning and evening. No need to worry.

She probably just shifted to a place where you can't feel her as strongly. My doc didn't have me start kick counts until the third trimester.

When do you start paying attention to consistency of baby movement? I am only 20.5 weeks so probably not yet is my guess. I can still feel her from time to time but it was waaaay stronger over the weekend so of course now I am worrying since it seems much milder.
