We use seeking health probiotics but they are pricey. We needed allergen free.

My ped told us to get Gerber probiotics when we started Amoxicillin last week. LO didn't develop diarrhea (yet). If I end up using it I am going to administer it with a bottle of formula.

We also had infant specific powder ones from the refrigerated section at Whole Foods. They had the dose listed on the jar- 1/4 tsp a day. She didn't take bottles so I just mixed t with a teaspoon or so of expressed milk and fed with a syringe but it would be easier with a bottle. I think you could put it in one bottle to make t easier on yourself (and daycare). I think it helped her a lot.

Our pediatrician recommended Culturelle. You can get the kids' packets, which is just powder and mix with their bottles. Works great!

We used to do that. You can actually buy infant probiotics in the refrigerated section at whole foods (and other health foods stores). We used baby jarrow.

A has her first ear infection and is on antibiotics. It's causing her to have massive, frequent poops, so last night she developed a RAGING diaper rash. We already use Triple Paste at night, so I loaded her up with that and took the tub to daycare so they can use it throughout the day. I don't think it's yeast, so I'm not inclined to get an anti-fungal yet. I'd like to try probiotics to help with the actual pooping, because I think that's the real issue here. Can I put probiotics in her BM bottles? Which ones and how much should I use? I was thinking of getting capsules for me to take, and splitting one capsule between her 3 bottles. Would that sound right? Too much? Please help. The poor girl is just miserable.
