<description>&#60;p&#62;@raintreebee:  ugh, that doesn't surprise me, but it's annoying that the people I've spoken with are acting like this is totally unprecedented! I mean, of course they aren't going to admit this happens a lot, but they've been really slow to react to the problem and figure out what's actually going on. They have wasted so much of my time, plus I've had to travel back and forth a bunch because I'm currently working out of town, and those travel costs add up!

<description>&#60;p&#62;I ordered a ruffle crib skirt from them in May 2011- seriously, the day I found out we were having a girl. I got shipping confirmation shortly after. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Two weeks later I get a back-order email with a new shipping date. This happened again and again.  I didn't get my dn crib skirt until late July.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I ordered Chloe the pbk anywhere chair in spring 2012. It came on time and in good shape, but I was irritated by their shopping policy. It was considered a heavy bulk item &#38;amp; I spent a pretty penny on shipping. The damn thing is made of foam &#38;amp; we needed to assemble it. The box couldn't have weighed more than 5lbs..

<description>&#60;p&#62;just to update: our issue STILL isn't resolved! they ended up not delivering anything on Saturday since they realized the vendor had mislabeled the item and they haven't been able to locate the changing table we ordered anywhere! they are supposed to get a new shipment of our item in late February, so we're waiting for then to see if the correct item is actually in stock. if not, we'll switch colors. Plus switch colors of our crib since we ordered a matching set. Soooo frustrating but at least now I have an individual person's direct line so that I don't have to re-explain myself every time I call. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;And, seriously, PSA: do NOT order the Madison changing table in gray, it is such a PITA!!!!

<description>&#60;p&#62;We just got a bedroom set via PB. The nightstands came via UPS and the rest came via home delivery. The home delivery portion went great but I was pissed at the nightstand delivery (although its really UPS's fault, not PB) because they just left the box on our driveway and didn't ring the doorbell/knock/anything. And our house layout is not weird/no stairs, it would have been easy to bring to the door or at least ring the freaking doorbell so I knew it was out there!

<description>&#60;p&#62;@nana87:  I would definitely ask cs if they can do something to compensate you for the inconvenience......sounds like a crazy circumstance and given you have a registry, etc. I'd think they'd try to do something to make you happy :) Maybe ask for a discount off the changing table, even 10% would be nice, right?

<description>&#60;p&#62;I recently had two deliveries from them - one better than the other.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The first was the crib which they were supposed to call to schedule for in-home delivery.  They never called and then the crib just arrived regular delivery shortly after.  It wasn't a big deal bc it was in a small enough box but if it were a larger furniture item, my apt. building wouldn't have let them leave it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I also got my glider delivered, in-home delivery.  This time they did call me to schedule the delivery and everything went very smoothly.

The woman was so nice and seemed so helpful, but then the wrong table showed up again! Keeping my fingers crossed that this time it finally got cleared up!

We ordered our cribs from PBK and they were delivered very quickly (less than a week and the New Year was in the middle of there!), packaged really well, etc. We did order in-store so that maybe helped alleviate any confusion? Our cribs are the Kendall model, but not the standard Kendall - we got the &#34;low profile&#34; (aka the crib for short people!) - and didn't have any issues getting the right one.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Has anyone ever had problems with getting orders delivered from Pottery Barn Kids? Or is my situation (below) a total anomaly? They seem like they SHOULD be such a reputable company!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We've been experiencing the biggest delivery snafu/headache with them I've ever had with any company! They've attempted to deliver a changing table to us now twice, but keep bringing the wrong one. Apparently they have the mix-up figured out now: the wrong item number is listed with the wrong furniture, so the changing table we ordered somehow has a different number online than in their system. What does NOT help is that the two items have the same name--seriously, it's idiotic! They look very different but are two versions of changing tables in the same series (PSA: avoid ordering any Madison changing tables from them--too confusing!!) &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Before all this mess, we'd also ordered a crib from them (just came off back order so we're expecting it soon too...). And we registered with them, though for smaller things that would come regular shipping rather than via this in-home delivery service that I'm becoming all too familiar with...But now that this has been such a hassle, I'm worried if they are always like this.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I'd love to hear about any experiences with them, good or bad!
