@Raindrop: Great! It could have just been that the files didn't finish uploading. On Dropbox it may show that they are transferred to the folder on the senders side but they still have to upload to Dropbox itself! Glad he had everything you wanted.

PHEW! Update! He got back to me and reloaded the pictures again and double check that there were no zero size files.

I was missing 20 pictures out of a 100 and in those 20 pictures 3 of them were the full everyone group shot! Also a good shot of the other shot I wanted (it was just a pose DH and I like to do and wanted to capture it - we were okay not having this though) and a few other cute pictures. I'm so grateful and happy. :)

I guess there is something wonky about dropbox sometimes. Seriously I have googled a lot of "zero size files dropbox issue" and still have no idea why this happened.

@Raindrop: Got it! If that's the critical shot, then I'm gonna upload it. Ha. I bet it just didn't go all the way through. And if he's not at his computer, he can't reload. Give him at least 24-48 hours!

@blackbird: I really hope so! I'm seriously a crazy person right now because he hasn't replied. I think my hormones are getting the best of me.

I saw 4 of them were pretty good as he clicked through the dozen he took of that shot... but I was just focused on LO looking straight ahead... So I'm not sure how the other 8 of us looked. I really hope one of the missing is one of these pictures.

@birdofafeather: Oh I didn't mean he meant to hid them from me! I mean maybe he loaded them... then deleted them because they weren't up to his standards. :) And for some reason dropbox ghosted that? But that would mean... that all the pictures I have are all I'm going to get ... and I really one this one specific picture! So I hope that's not the case... which is why I'm a little worried right now. I mean what I have is great... but I would have to do some major Photoshopping to get the picture I'm missing.

ETA : He sent me the link... and I opened it 2 hours later. Dropbox time said the files were created when he sent the link.

Sounds like a critical shot and I'm guessing it didn't upload properly, though....even if the image was corrupt coming into the camera, if he took 12, one of them is good :)

@mediagirl: Yup he always replied same day before. He gave it to me last night but I e-mailed him before dinner last night about my issue. I was hoping to get some answers this morning and now it's past lunch.

One of the shoots is very important to me. It is a shot of everyone that was there, we had 9 people. I have all the shoots of everyone, grouped out of course - just not the big shot of everyone.

I know he took a couple and that was the one shot I asked to see during the session so I know he took a dozen of them so I think/hoping one of the "missing" pictures is of that shot.

How long has it been since he loaded them and then you emailed? Images can get lost in cyberspace or get corrupted on upload so it's probably a case of this. I wouldn't assume the worst that he was trying to hide images from you. Sometimes images just don't work out and as a photographer myself I only want to show my best!

I'm hoping they just didn't upload properly. How long did it take you to get in touch with him in the past? Was he always prompt before the shoot?

We did our photo session with a professional photographer.

He just gave me the pictures he took. It was through dropbox. For some reason some of the pictures he had in the dropbox were size 0 and when I tried to click at it... it gave me a loading error. I thought it was because I was on my mobile when I did this but when I went home the same thing happened.

I emailed him about it but he hasn't responded. The pictures that are there are pretty nice though. I am missing 2 shoots that I wanted and I did mention that in the email.

I'm a little worried that the pictures that aren't loading are pictures he never intended to give us and we are just out those 2 specific shoots.

Anyone know what this issue means?
