@Zbug: I ended up with a 10 day luteal phase this month so I guess that is a step in the right direction. According to my acupuncturist, the quality of the egg can impact progesterone levels. My doctor is just pushing ivf and saying the short luteal phase has nothing to do with my miscarriage and everything to do with my advanced maternal age of 35. Ugh. Might be time for a new doctor.

@Shantuck: ugh I'm sorry. My luteal phase was actually 11 days this cycle. I'm assuming the improvement was due to vitex, but I was surprised since my progrsterone was so low. I will supplement progesterone next cycle. It's really frustrating. Have you talked to your dr?

@Zbug: I seem to be following the same path as you. Miscarried in June and have had 8 day luteal phases ever since. I just had my progesterone levels checked at 7 dpo and I'm at 6. Did you end up supplementing this cycle? Did it help your luteal phase?

@Zbug: I got my BFP on the same day as the blood results because of a holiday. I had some P leftover from my last m/c so I started it right away.

I tested around 6 when I got pregnant with my son. It can be ok, but you'd need to supplement ASAP.

Due to a short luteal phase since my miscarriage in June, I had a progesterone test at 7dpo. My progesterone was 7.2, which Google tells me means I probably ovulated but my progesterone should be at least 10. My dr is out of the office, but another dr just said the number was ovulating and my dr would get back to me (not sure when).

Does 7.2 mean I'm probably out this month, or has anyone has a successful pregnancy with an initial low progesterone level?
